On August 20-23, 2009, the Scouts of
Troop72.com tried out a new section
of the Superior Hiking Trail on the North Shore of Lake Superior.
It may have been our best trip ever! Highlights included waking up to
break camp at 4:45 a.m. and hiking in the dark to the top of Mt.
Trudee to watch the sunrise over Lake Superior, and all the other
stunning scenery including the state's largest waterfalls at Baptism
River. GREAT trip!!
