On the weekend of Nov. 7-9, 2008, the Scouts of
Troop72.com
had a great weekend at L.E. Phillips Scout Reservation.
For the first time, we stayed in the compound known as Fort Rice.
This is an amazing place -- great kitchen, huge central area, three
bedrooms downstairs, and FORTY BUNKS upstairs! Not to mention four
"towers," each with twelve more bunks, for those brave enough to sleep
without heat.
Our Troop Instructor (Jasper) laid out a one-mile compass course that everyone tried out. For dinner we had our Third Annual Trash Can Turkey Feast, along with Rotissery Turkey, Oven Turkey, and ham, and an assortment of potatoes prepared by the patrols.
Anyway, here are some pictures I took with my FZ50.
