On the weekend of Sept. 8-9, 2007, the Scouts of
Troop72.com had a FANTASTIC time riding
their bikes to Durand and back. Over the two days, they put on exactly 72
miles -- perfect for Troop "72"!
Some of the highlights included swimming in the sand bars near the confluence of the Chippewa and Red Cedar rivers, and getting a tour of the Durand fire station thanks to local Scout leaders Dennis Boigenzahn and Dave Fayerweather.
