On May 17-18, 2003, boys from Troop72.com of the Boy Scouts of America went for a ride on the Old Abe Trail, a paved bicycle trail connecting Chippewa Falls to Cornell. This trail runs on a converted railroad bed, so there is easy grading and lots of great scenery. It was just over 20 miles from the starting point to our campsite at Brunet Island State Park, and another 20 miles back again Sunday morning.
