Red Cross Training in Chippewa Falls

(Last modified: $Date: 2010-02-22 11:12:30-06 $)

Troop 72 is going to Philmont in July 2010! A new requirement of Philmont is that adult leaders be trained in "Wilderness First Aid". The Red Cross of Eau Claire is going to provide that training for us right here in Chippewa Falls on a few weeknights in early March for a discounted rate. Other Scout leaders are welcome to join us, up to 10 total for Wilderness First Aid and up to 20 for the one-day CPR training. Here are class dates and times and places:

Tue, March 02, 2010, 5-9pm, CPR training at CVBC
Wed, March 03, 2010, 5-9pm, WFA training at Cray, Inc.
Mon, March 08, 2010, 5-9pm, WFA training at CVBC
Wed, March 10, 2010, 5-9pm, WFA training at Cray, Inc.
Thu, March 11, 2010, 5-9pm, WFA training at CVBC

The training is at Chippewa Valley Bible Church (behind Kmart), except for the Wednesdays, when the church is too full. Those days we'll be meeting at Cray near St. Joseph's Hospital, in the little building between 1050 and 900 Lowater.

Cost is $25 for the one-day CPR training, or $95 for the full five days of Wildnerness First Aid training including CPR. Here are the links for more info:
